Carmel has more wealthy households over $200,000, but Fishers captures an estimated 928 more households with greater incomes in comparison.
Income Per Capita
The local 1% income taxes collected by all Hamilton County wage earners in 2017 (July 2016 to June 2017) totaled $152,910,602 as reported by the Indiana State Budget Agency. The theoretical taxable income was $1.52 billion dollars.
