Fiscal Conservatives Endorse Milam for Carmel City Council SW District

The Fiscal Conservatives of Hamilton County formally endorse Matt Milam in his run for Carmel City Council Southwest District for the upcoming May 7th Primary.

Milam has maintained residency in Carmel since 1995. Matt and his wife of 24 years, Colleen, raised a son and a daughter in his community. He served as Precinct Committeeman for Orchard Park since 2008 in addition to his duties as an Adult Leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Matt’s experience leading Concerned Citizens for Home Place (CCHP) as President for 14 years shows his commitment to his community, his neighbors and all citizens of Carmel. By protecting property rights and keeping tax rates in check for the residents of Home Place, Matt has saved the residents millions in taxes. His commitment over a fourteen-year period eventually became the driving force behind the change in Indiana State Laws regarding annexation procedures.

Gregg Feigh, FCoHC Carmel member offered this personal recommendation " I have been an active observer of Carmel government activities for over a decade and Matt has proven himself to be an effective and dedicated representative of Home Place and I am confident will do the same on the Carmel City council."

Matt’s steady leadership and sound judgement enables him to make the difficult decisions that face the Carmel City Counsel. He vows to research and deliberate on all bills presented to the Carmel City Counsel. Milam will work to ensure that decisions made will keep Carmel a secure and thriving place to live, work, and raise a family.
